I was thinking about this, and I think it could be quite useful to have an add command. Simply /add <phone number/email>
The phone number is because you can add contacts by mobile number now. This could come in handy when people are giving you the address of a contact. I would use it.

Yes it is, SP3 can add an "add this contact" item to the list of links that appears when there are no results.
