O.P. Protecting Plus Options.
I am trying to protect my Messanger plus options as much as possible.

Now I find this completely retarted...

When you are at the main window you can just click Plus! and then choose Open log files.....

Then all the log files are listed right there and can just be deleted.

Now if your in a private IM window, when you click open log file it actually files your encrption password.

Also you can just uncheck log this file.

So my questions is this.  In the main window how do i get rid of the option to open log files, or how do i make this password protected.

And is there a way to get rid of the option to uncheck Log This Chat.

I dont care if its threw .dll editing or what it takes or maybe I just dont understand if there is a option there.

Remeber i care if you can view the folder the log files are in cause you can delete it.  Why I am saying this is the following reason:

I can bury the log file folder and make that folder hidden.  99% of users just dont even know that folder option.  But if they can view the folder from that option they can just see it.  And no making the folder hidden and applying it to all sub sections will not work because new files are created and are not default as hidden.

I understand what you're saying, but is it so other people can't access your chat logs, or turn them off or delete them?

You can change the location of where the chat logs are saved, if that helps? Change it to somewhere only you can find?

If you're worried about people deleting chat logs or turning them off, use the Messenger Lock feature when you're not using WLM.

Sorry I can't answer your question directly.

That's the only possible way to protect the preferences.
