the messages will come up next time you/your contact (whoever was sent them) signs into Windows Live Messenger.
If you're talking about auto-replies as a function if Messenger Plus Live for when you are away then you need to download Messenger Plus Live and whenever you set yourself to away a window will come up prompting you for your automessage
