I tried to search the forums for this but can't figure it out. I hear everything on my end with the default emoticon sounds, but my contacts who I chat with don't. Do they have to be using MPL as well, or ??? Must the have the latest version of WLM? I don't understand why they don't hear anything. I have the latest versions of both MPL and WLM, any suggestions? Thank you.

For Messenger Plus! Emoticon Sounds to work, Messenger Plus! Live must be installed for it to work.

they need plus! as well, as far i know, it works with people who have MP!3 as well so theres no exuse for them not to have any form of plus
