O.P. A question on Script - Display Pic Changer
Hello, i have a question on this script display pic changer. I wanted to know whether we can set the timing "Every something seconds" to mili seconds, for instance, in this case, i would like to put 0.5 seconds.
I tried to put any timing that is less than 1 second, it doesn't change the display picture but instead the timing was changed to 1800 seconds straight away.
The reason why i would like to put it as 0.5 seconds is that i would like to have an animated picture in my dp.

Hope help given. :D

Sorry it will not work.

That's a limitation of Windows Live protocol.

The statement in italics may be incorrect

RE: A question on Script - Display Pic Changer
Also remember that it may take a few seconds before your contacts will recieve the new display picture. So setting it to even 2 or 3 seconds is, imho, quite useless as you will not be sure that the contact will even recieve the new display picture in time before the next change, etc.
You also put some strain on the servers and your contacts' internet connection (especially if they are using a slow connection).

Bottom line is: you can not animated your display picture or even simulate an animation with Display Picture changers. That is not for what they were created either....

If you want an animated display picture I suggest you get a dynamic display picture (or wait till Windows Live Messenger 9 is out and ill all your contacts are using WLM9 also).
