I don't really know if this is a bug or not, but anyway. I'm using Messenger Plus 4.6 with WLM 8.5. When I use the WLM default skin there's no advertisements anywhere, but whenever I apply the custom skins, the ads always come back and I have not found away to get around this. Any help?

Once again, sorry if this is in the wrong section.

Hello,

It must mean that you have patched your WLM to remove the advertisement, a few skins have a hidden registry file to disable the advertisements also.

If you want to try and figure it out yourself read aNILEators guide

RE: Advertisements
I have the same tutorial on msgstuff forums too, which deals directly with those other elements.

The reason we don't remove the ads by default or have a visible option to do so, is that it's showing consideration and respect for Microsoft for providing us with the client for free in the first place, and it is Patchou's wish not to promote removing the ads or anything to possibly upset the messenger team (or anyone at Microsoft in fact, (except maybe the xbox division :P))
