Here ya go. The conversation window has the proper display pic, but the contact list not so much. Oh - the problem is there for folks WITHOUT a mobile connection too, they just show up as the default icon.
Available (green outline) contacts, same problem.
Me being online or offline makes no difference either.

Thanks, but that's not the problem. Makes no difference if I've chatted with the person or not.

MY picture comes up in the contact list when I'm online, BTW...

I'm not sure if this would help but there's an option in Messenger saying something like "this is a shared computer so don't story my address book, display picture, or personal message on it". Make sure it is unchecked and see if that helps, maybe it's preventing Messenger from saving your contact's pictures as well. It should be udner the Security tab.
