I dont think the 8800GT can be classified as a budget card, seeming as it is still one of the more expensive ones out there...especially the 512mb or the 1gb models

Just because you have a job doesn't justify the cost. I for one wouldn't want to spend insane amounts on unjustifiable objects irrespective of how much I have in my pocket/bank.
I would hardly call $200 insane amounts of money I could have purchased 4 of them with this weeks pay.
