O.P. Webcam problem
Okay, here's the deal... I use webcams with people all the time... but for a while now (about three or four months) the webcam works first or first and second time, then it just won't work anymore.

No error, nothing, and this is both ways, so if mine doesn't work for them theirs won't work for me...

Please help!!!

Also, if webcams won't work, neither will phone connection thingies...

did you try it with other programs like skype or yahoo? does it work?

Yes, yahoo doesn't work at all. Never tried skype.

perhaps if you try to reinstall the drivers may solve the problem?

if now try and getin splitcam/manycam/webcammax the first 2 i named are free lastone is pay but u go into the cam settings on the messenger programs and change the cam source to one of them programs and then open the program pick the cam in the program and there u go.. should work and this also lets u cam on more then 1 program to so :) and do other effects

It isn't a problem with the drivers, because when my cam doesn't work, theirs doesn't either. So it's obviously something in the connection.

Also, one contact that had been camming with me regularly got that error with me, and when she disconnected and reconnected the cam it worked again.

:S

Tried splitcam, no use.
