Recently, being at a friends house, i noticed her msn convosations were grouped together. So basically instead of having loads of convosations in the taskbar; they were all located at the top of a single convosation.
Is there any way i can get my msn convosations to do this too?
Iv looked everywhere in the settings and i cant seem to find it?
Do i have to install a certain version of windows live messenger so it will give me the option to do this?

You can do it with tabs. Go to the Preferences panel, then go to he conversations tab and select tabbed chats. Tick the "Enable tabbed chatting" option and restart your Messenger. Then, when you have to conversations open, they will be in the same window.
You need to have Messenger Plus! Live installed.

Once installed you will come across it in the wizard that will run on first time. If you want'to change it afterwards go to Plus > Preferences > Conversations > Tabbed Chats

Disable tabbed chats feature! Or get used to it, it is a known limitation, you can find many threads about it by searching this forum.
The best thing you can do is using Win logo key+M or D to minimize the last open window on your desktop while you have a messenger conversation window minimized in your taskbar while tabbed chats are enabled.
