O.P. MSN messenger TCP test fails
Hello to all,
I'm behind my company firewall and I use proxy server to connect to the Internet. Until recently, my MSN messegner works, but it doesn't anymore. I'm getting cannot coonect error 81000306.

When I go to advanced options I chose to test my connections, I get the following message when testing HTTP proxy: success, you can connect.
But TCP test failes with message: We're unable to connect:8007274d.
Is there any way I can check if port is disabled by administrator, or error is something else?
How can I be sure that administrator has shut down ports?
Thank you

Have you tried putting in your proxy details in Messenger itself? Or have you allready done that?

Some more information may be able to let us help a bit better.

If it was working fine and suddenly stopped working then it is possible the port was blocked by your system admins.

WLM's ports(might be of some help)
