I have been receiving a lot of spam messages through windows live.

I am talking about the messenger (not emails etc) Some are what appears to be calculations or HTML tags. I have removed messenger and all the extras. I have removed all messenger applications. I am/was still getting the WM popups.

I have now removed  IE7 and for the last 10 minutes have not received anything so far.

My questions are:  Has anybody else experienced this ? and secondly if I have removed messenger how can I still be receiving messages? I have done a complete A/C and security check and nothing shows up.

If you have removed windows live messenger you can't receive messages when you are offline. You must reinstall IE7 with msn becouse wlm connect with this browser.
