O.P. New headset
Hey guys, i am looking to buy a new headset from eBay, if you guys know of any decent brands or a link to a certain auction then please let me know...

i am after something that is good with music [bass would be nice]
works with a microphone, for skype calls and stuff.
Connects to a USB port as the jacks on my computer don't work.
Under a price of $60 Australian

If giving me an eBay link, please make sure it is a fairly positive seller, thanks! :D

I have a Creative Fatal1ty gaming headset that came with my soundcard but that uses jack plugs

That one seems ok, is the mic boom bendy or just rotatable?

As far as i have read it is only bendy, i have decided not to go through this seller, as his reputation is horrible and his shipping prices are crazy.

NOTE: Slightly rotatable, but not 180 as far as cnet tells me anyway :P Considering one of them Microsoft Lifechat Headsets.

If your standards for "good with music" are anywhere close to mine, you are not going to get all of that in one headset without spending at least $300.  Most headsets, particularly USB headsets, are intended for chat and are barely FM radio quality.  Most high end headphones are intended for listening to music and don't come with microphones.  There are only a handful of products that combine high end headphones with a mic, aimed at the DJ and professional market, and priced accordingly.

As far as chat grade headsets go, I have been through several and highly recommend Logitech Premium Notebook headset.  It is comfortable, has proven durable (after a year of daily use, mine shows no signs of wear),  and the sound quality is decent for both headphones and microphone. I certainly wouldn't call it "high fidelity", but it might be acceptable for someone who also finds the white iPod earbuds good enough.

The headset itself is analog, but ships with a USB dongle -- which works fine with other analog headsets.  That means if you ever break the headset, you will still have the USB dongle and will be able to choose from a much wider selection of both analog and USB headsets when you replace it.  The folding feature and carrying case are not very important to me, but were still handy the few times I've needed to pack it in my luggage.
