O.P. PS/2 Keyboard not working
I've just upgraded my brothers computer. The keyboard he's using is the same as before, no problems at all before the upgade. I put in the XP setup cd, but when it comes to the first screen (press Enter, F3 or R) the keyboard doesn't work. USB keyboards seem to work fine. I thought after installing a fresh copy of XP, the PS/2 keyboard will work. It doesn't. Its pretty strange because the keyboard works 100% in the BIOS but as soon as it starts to loads XP, the NumLock light section turns off. When I press a key, the NumLock and ScrollLock lights faintly flash until I let go of the key. I've checked endlessly on Google but to no avail.
What can be the issue?
