i can't work out why the combination of vista + flash player means i have no audio from flash videos and audio, like youtube

any ideas?

ive tried lots of registry things but not luck, i dont understand!

also, why has the vista mixer stopped showing certain programs, such as firefox and ie... all other sound works fine!

edit:
a restart fixed the problem a strange thing was that i had some windows update things bugging me for a restart, not sure of any link.

Sometimes I have a weird problem with Flash players.
The video plays for 2s and stops. There's no sound and nothing else happens. Than I have to restart the browser...

yeah flash player is a bit borked at the moment it doesn't like playing in any browsers on occasion a restart has always fixed my problems too
