O.P. MSN always turning to "appear offline"
I haven't had Windows Live Messenger for long and it was fine in the beginning. But now I'm noticing that every time I leave MSN for awhile (probably like 20 mins), when I come back I see that it says that it changed to "appear offline" so then I have to change my status.  Because it keeps doing this, I never get messages from people when I'm expecting them.  It never did this in the beginning. Before, I was able to just leave MSN for hours on end and it wouldn't do anything.

Does anyone know the cause of this and how can I fix it?

Do you sign in as appear offline?

it could be that you experience a slight dip in connection which causes your messenger to sign out and then re-sign you back in as your normal sign-in status

I've done it before. I never thought of that, thank you!
