trying to play some games, legit homebrew obviously. one game works when i play it from my 1gb micro sd, but not from my 2gb micro sd.

why is this?
any tips?

does the 2gb have the same folders as the 1gb?

Are you using the latest firmware?

To be honest, I have found that when I switched from using my 1GB card to my 2GB card, I was having more problems in general... It's not something I can say for sure, but I believe a problem does exist.

hm, yeah. i don't know if its having trouble with the extra room. it could be, ive got to r4 cards, so ive like, tried every possible combination and the 2gb card is the thing causing the freezes, not one of my r4s. plus the 1gb works in both.

so is it just something im going to have to live with?

You could try formatting the 2Gb card as FAT instead of FAT32... I only have a M3DSS myself, but I read somewhere that it *might* help some freezing issues and the likes.

2GB memory cards may not be compatible with older models, like some 4GB SD cards aren't compatible with some digital cameras .

i bought them both together off of amazon, i think the r4 is one of the newer ones, its meant to be!
but yeah, i formatted it andit works perfect it only had trouble with the larger games. like 256 etc.
