How do I clean out WLM from my computer completly if it's not the Add/Remove Programs menu?

I havn't tried it but should what he suggested clear out any reminence to WLM so I can install an older version?...the problem I am having is that it's not letting me install another version because it sais this one is installed

yeah, it should. The only other place I can suggest looking is in the registry
HKCR\Installer\Products
Within here will be a lot of keys with random letters/numbers. you will have to search through them all to find any reference to WLM.
You can also try the Windows Installer Cleanup, if WLM is listed in it.

Don't forget to try a third party registry cleaner if you haven't  considered it before. Tune-Up Utilities is the first thing that springs to mind.

It will go through your registry and remove all of the useless registry entries left over from buggered uninstallation attempts. It my solve your problem. There are other applications that do this. Use Google to find them.
