When I sign out and then sign into my messenger, my name doesn't remain consistent. It reverts to my email address or a name I used to have.  Also my Personal Message usually disappears. Any clue as to why?

It takes some minutes for messenger to load your nick and psm, be patient.

Not usually it doesn't

It could just be the server couldn't retrieve your details, or that WLM was unable to save them when you signed out. This tends to happen periodically. I'd just wait it out (or make a script like I did that controls what your nickname and psm say. This way, it will always go back to what you set it to.
