im suffering this kind of problem


im a WLM8.1 user and have downloaded the 9.0 version
but after i install it, i cant sign in anymore just like on picture above

could someone help me solving this problem?

interesting, because your msn version is 9.0.1407.1107, and this is first beta of WLM9 (anyway, this is not usable since the new wave3 beta published), and the version of lmcdata.dll (this is a shared component for live programs, like messenger/mail/etc.) is 14.0.5027.908, which is an wave3 beta version.

i suggest that uninstall all windows live components (windows live messenger/windows live mail/etc.) with "add/remove programs", and install it again from http://download.live.com (check the component what you wanna use).
btw you can check the file versions here (if they are different, the msn won't work):
c:\program files\windows live\contacts\lmcdata.dll
c:\program files\windows live\messenger\msnmsgr.exe
(right click, properties, version tab).

ok i have tried ur command and now its working
my WLM has updated into 2009 version.
however, i cant use my msgplus
how can i use it on 2009 version?

download the new beta MSGplus from here http://mirror2.msgpluslive.net/MsgPlusLive-479.exe, this is already compatible with WLM9 beta3.
