O.P. About WLM 9 changes
So, today I installed WLM 9 and noticed a few changes.
Besides the new visual, one of the most obvious are the statuses. No more "Out for lunch", "On a call", etc.
No problem about this, except by "Online", that was renamed to "Available"*. So, it'd be nice if the translations match the new term, right?

However, Plus! will still be compatible with WLM 8.x, which still uses "Online".
In  this case, how will we handle this? There is no similar situation in the Guidelines, so I don't know what to do.
Update them? Keep them? Will new keys be added?

How are the translators dealing with it? What is your opinion?

* At least in Portuguese. Also happened with other languages?

I agree a workaround should be found. In my language file, I didn't change the way it is translated since it is good in both ways but I am most likely to change it with the official release.

well, currently Plus has only one string for that translation what means that it has to be the same for both WLM 8 and 9. In this case, I suggest to keep the current translation (online) not to confuse the users.

If Patchou thinks it'd worth it, he could add a new translation string, which could be used when WLM is version 9. In this scenario, Plus would automatically select "online" or "available" depending on the version of WLM and everything should be fine. However my opinion is that it isn't so important to match the translations, at least for now because WLM 9 is beta and it may change.

that's an interesting point. Maybe it only changed in the portuguese version of WLM. We should check if the same change happened also in the english WLM. I don't know about any other language, but I'll install WLm in spanish and let you know ;)

Well, the same naming scheme is being used in the Norwegian translation - Available (Tilgjengelig) instead of Online (Påkoblet).

However, I can't remember what it used for Offline...
* Thor goes installing Norwegian WLM as well
