Seems they have got my list of people, and send out virus scam thingys

Is there any way to stop this also??

Seems one thing then another!!!

Change the password for your MSN and scan your pc for viruses.

Because you fell for a phishing scam (I presume) they know your email and password, so they're logging onto your account and sending the link to all your contacts.

Just change your password, then they can't login to your account.

And don't fall for it again

..If you downloaded something dodgy (in which case it could be a keylogger), then you'll need to scan your PC for viruses.

No offense guys but I have been around for a long time
have not fell victim to many phishing scams


and to change my password????

Well, at least try changing your Messenger password, see if it helps, if it doesn't then you can always change it back. Changing your password and scanning your PC are the same things I would recommend.

You've been around that long you havn't figured how to change your password. Great.
Hmm, Should be a Picture with your name on it/around it.
Click it, View ur accounts, Change pass.

No, I mean I know all about phishing scams and the like.

And I like my password, duh, so I know how to change it!

And yes, my pc has all the latest and best AV stuff.

No offence, but somebody HAS entered your username and password into a phishing website. You may deny it was you, but that just means it was someone else. It doesn't matter what AV software you have if the site has not yet been listed as a phishing site (which is usually the case with the amount of them popping up now-a-days.

Your ONLY option is to change the password, else the automated bot that keeps signing in will continue to do so. It may be that they will remove your credentials from their list after x amount of failed logins, at which point you can change your password back.
