O.P. Icons don't appear
Not sure if it's supposed to be like this, or if it's messenger's fault or whatever.

But I've noticed in other user's images they have icons on the top bar.

As you can see below I don't.

The icons have been removed in the 2009 final version.

any pictures showing icons are most likely old versions of Messenger
