O.P. Windows Live Messenger - No "Phone Ringing" Need Help . . .
I am currently running Windows XP SP2 32-bit with Windows Live Messenger 8.5.1302.  The only problem that I am having is that I do not get the "phone ringing" sound when initiating a video call, or receiving a video call.  My volume controls are up and sound is coming out of my computer speakers.  Is there an option to turn the ringing on and off somewhere that i do not know about?   Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thank yu for your time.

Go to the options menu in the Windows Live Messenger, then go to Sounds, and check if all the sounds are enabled and working (Y)
...there used to be a signature here :)
