just put a space as your nickname?
You have the intellect comparable to that of a rock. Be proud.

Perhaps only in others' contact lists, [c=0]John Smith[/c] will make the text white; but this only works best on WLM 8.5, as the background of WLM9's contact list is tinted blue in parts.

It didnt work, still shows your e-mail address as your nickname. Have a look at EmptyNick script.

Yeah just tried Alt+0160 then. Doesn't seem to work with the new version of Messenger.

Im guessing it will only work for contacts with plus installed - its what the emptynick script uses. Dont beleive me? Use emptynick and while you have "no" nickname, go into your options, and look at what your nickname is in there.

And by what you have said, then it wont work for those who dont have Plus! installed yes. Anyway I provided the Alt+0173 solution.

Does this mean Alt+0173 doesnt work either?
This is the way I took it...

EDIT: Just tried Alt+0160 - It didnt work, also tried 0173 - It did ;)

This should work for contacts without messenger plus installed, unlike my first suggestion, so I guess it should be used instead :P

Thanks - I even learnt something here, and I only came from this thread to help someone else :)
