O.P.  I cannot open internet links in my chat windows...
Hello.
Since getting the newest msn with plus etc...
I haven't been able to open links my friends have sent me.
I double click the link and it doesn't open, but becomes highlighted.
I then have to copy the link into my browser to veiw it.
I'm sure you've guessed, its pretty annoying.
I've checked everything, especially privacy.
This is my own laptop, own messenger etc, and i'm 18, so there's no need for family settings.
And my friends also have the newest version and have no problem.
Please help! Its driving me up the wall lol.

When you go to Tools> Options> Security. Is "Allow links in conversation windows and my contact list" ticked?

You should only have to single click the link, not double click it.
What is your default internet browser?
Might be a silly question, but have you tried restarting the computer?
When the links are sent do they show up blue and underlined and when you hover over them does the arrow turn into a hand?

Do links work from other programs?
If you type a link in word for example, are you able to click it and open it?

Does the problem disappear if you uninstall Messenger Plus! Live?
