i locked my messanger and i cant unlock it
i try double clicking the you got new device thing on the bottom next to the time but it dont work
then i try holding ctrl and double clickng it still dont work

plz help what should i do except restarting my computer or
pressing ct + alt + del and then going to process tab to close messanger
i want to use my lock key and i dont want to disable it

Maybe you/someone else made an unlock shortcut somehow? Go to Plus!> Preferences & Options> Messenger> Messenger Lock, see if "unlock with a system-wide shortcut" is chosen.

Yah, if you have "Unlock with system-wide shortcut" ticked, then you can only unlock with the short-cut and nothing else. (e.g. double-clicking will not unlock your msn)
