Buggy personalized status?

O.P. Buggy personalized status?
How come when I change back to other statuses (Available, Busy) from a personalized status, the personalized status still remains? I had to change my display name for the status to disappear.

It was not like this before *-)

Is this a bug or is it intended to be this way?

Can't reproduce this, personalised statuses seem to work fine here.

Windows XP Service Pack 3 (5.1.2600)
Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1 (6.0.6001)
Windows Live Messenger 14.0.0206
Messenger Plus! Live 4.81.0.358

Thanks a lot
Make sure you didn't change the status to the same one used in your personalized status.

eg: If your real WLM status in a personalized status is 'Busy', and you change your status manually to 'Busy' then no change will be made.

Otherwise, the status and personal message should change.
It does here, in XP SP3 as well as in Vista Ultimate, no problems at all...

Yeah, Ive seen this bug too but since I dont use Personalized Statuses too often, I didnt even mention it.
