I've just downloaded MSN Live plus and one feature I was hoping for that has appeared in other messengering services but I can't find when looking throughj the scripts is to appear off-line to some contacts.
My partner will not sign in as someone always tries to contact her when she does, she doesn't want to block them as sometimes she does want to speak to them.
Is there a script, or any other way, of appearing off-line to some contacts while appearing on-line to others?

Apologies if this has been answered before, I did look but couldn't find anything.

Not possible

The only way to appear offline to some and online to others is to block the contacts you wish to show offline. I'm not sure about WLM 14, but in 8.x StuffPlug allows talking to blocked contacts.

Pity, this is why she prefers Yahoo messenger, it's a lot easier to control who sees you.

i actually find it more confusing the few times i've come across it, haha.

generally you don't have contacts in your list who you don't want to know your status....and if you don't want them to then you either just block them, or appear offline and only talk to the one/two people you came on for

I hate yahoo messenger.
She does appear offline and only talks to me but then I can't see when she's there and she can't receive winks
