O.P. plus working in main screen but not in conversation windows

I'm using 8.5 WLM, Windows XP and I just downloaded plus.
Now the colour codes work on the main screen, but when I open up conversations with people, the codes show and no colours.
Can anyone fix this? I'd appreciate any help.

EDIT;; I have also tried using the newest version of WLM but it still doesn't work. D=
