I have the same problem, i donīt have too many contacts, no firewall at all, and the only one is AVG 8.5 (this one i have it since forever) suddenly few days ago, messenger just freeze and unfreezes after a while when someone sends me a message or goes online, i tried to reinstall it and nothing, please some help i donīt want to format my pc :(
