Close Messenger.
Click Start.
On Windows XP, click Run.
Type "regedit", and press Enter.
On Windows Vista, confirm.
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Patchou\Messenger Plus! Live\GlobalSettings\Scripts\WLM Safe.
Double-click the item "Enabled" on the right side.
Change its value from "1" to "0", and click OK.
Close Windows Registry Editor.
Sign in to Messenger.
