O.P. Messenger from my blackberry
Hi there,
I've just added Messenger to my Blackberry and would like to know if there is any way to remove the indicator that I am using it from a mobile device. I would like my presence to look the same regardless of whether I am accessing it from a computer or my mobile.
Thanks for any tips!*-)

As far as I know, the Messenger Client/Application sends information informing other users you are on a mobile device. As there are no methods to remove it that I know of (and I'm assuming you have checked the options?) I would say it's rather safe to assume it's not possible

As long as you are using the official client from RIM, then yes it will report you as online/mobile. If you use any other client, its hit and miss, most of them do not report being mobile. But I know for a fact that the Windows Live mobile application provided by RIM (download OTA at http://www.blackberry.com/windowslive/ ) will work just fine.

What IM program are you using?

I cannot hear you. There is a banana in my ear.
