i have been using messenger plus 4.80.0.356 with my MSN.
when there was a new version of windows live messenger, i downloaded it and tired to install it. however, i couldnt install. i suspected it was the problem of messenger plus, so i tried to uninstall messenger plus first, but whenever i tried to uninstall it, a pop up window would say "Uninstall.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience." i have tried to download the plus 482 and see if it could fix the problem, but i still get that pop-up window.

now, i couldnt uninstall messenger plus nor install the new windows live messenger, could anyone advise how i could solve it?

stay with MSN Messenger 8.5,  to remove MsgPlusLive download

but couldnt find msg plus on the list, so couldnt remove it
