i have been trying to download messenger plus! live for 3 days now and it wont change my messenger
every time it says it has downloaded successfully and i dont no if it has because it has changed my home page for internet explorer and it saves on my laptop but it wont open in messenger !!! everythings the same ... i cant see the colours in peoples names and i cant download skins because it tells me i havnt got messenger plus!
i have wlm not msn so it should be ok but i have windows vista and i dont no if that would effect anything

plz plz plz help

Just downloading it is not enough, you'll need to install it, too. Go to the MsgPlus installer that you've downloaded (by the way, make sure you only download it from msgpluslive.net) and double-click it. Then follow the instructions on the screen.

soz i didnt realise they were 2 different things lol
it still wont work !!
i keep uninstalling it then retrying as thats some of the advice i have had but it doesnt work does it matter that i have windows vista ?

Sure, Smiley Central is known by its conflict with Messenger Plus!. You need to uninstall it following the steps provided here for Messenger Plus! to function properly

Are you sure? Note that it is named as "My Web Search (Smiley Central)" or "My Total Search (Smiley Central)" in the Add/Remove programs list. If you still cant find then ignore step #1 here and follow the other steps.

thnx soooo much i have successfully uninstalled smiley central as far as i no but it  STILL wont work
is there anyhting else i can do
