O.P. WLM Won't Upgrade

Hello: I now have Version 2009 (build 14.0.8064.206) and I tried to upgrade to the newest build and it kept stating that I already have windows messenger.
what is the proper way to upgrade? Thanks

Try removing WLM completely with Zap Messenger, then reinstall.

The typical way to do it is:

-Start Menu
-Control Panel
-Add or Remove Programs
-Find WLM, uninstall
-Restart computer
-Download new version

That should work.
