When i signed in a couple of minutes ago, a pop-up box said that there's a new upgrade for msn 14.0 (9.0), what's the difference?

its a forced update that fix's vulnerabilities in previous 9.0

will it change anything mainly? like scripts and skins..?

If you were using the Windows Live Messenger 2009, not-beta, version, nothings changes, only a security fix.

If you were using Windows Live Messenger 8.5 (2008), yes, it changes everything =P Some scripts keep working to be honest.

Speaking of updates, has the 9 update been forced into 8.5 users yet? It was supposed to be forced on mid-September, but it seems that it hasn't been forced yet?
