O.P. WLM Won't Sign In.
Before i start.

My OS: Windows Vista Home Basic
Patches: None installed
WLM: Newest Version
Firewall: On
Anti-Virus Software: McAfee Security Suite powered by Comcast.net

(Things i've already tried)
Uninstall\Reinstall
Repair
Troubleshoot
Turn Firewall Off
Check SSL
Clear IE Catche
Try different versions
Un-Registered the .dll's below
Re-Registered the .dll's below
Re-Downloaded fresh versions of the .dll's below
Repeated the above unreg\reg steps.
(/end)

I last logged into my Windows Live Messenger approx 2 weeks ago.

Okay, i'll try to explain in detail.

I open Messenger, put in my E-Mail & Pass, click Sign In, it starts to sign in, the little icon spins, then stops and acts like i never even clicked Sign in.

No error, nothing. The more i click it the more it still does nothing, i've run troubleshoot through options it still does nothing.

i HAVE found a possible solution but i'm afraid there seems to be a error with it for me, because apparently you're not allowed to have specific .dll files

code:
Reregister the security .dll files:
Windows Vista
a. Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, and then right-click
Command Prompt.
b. Click Run as administrator.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation,
type the password, or click Continue.
c. Type the following commands. Press ENTER after each command line.
Note: after each command runs successfully, you receive a "DllRegisterServer
succeeded" message. Wait until you receive this message before you type the
next command.
.. regsvr32 softpub.dll
.. regsvr32 wintrust.dll
.. regsvr32 initpki.dll
.. regsvr32 rsaenh.dll
.. regsvr32 mssip32.dll
.. regsvr32 cryptdlg.dll
.. regsvr32 dssenh.dll
.. regsvr32 gpkcsp.dll
.. regsvr32 slbcsp.dll
.. regsvr32 sccbase.dll

Now if i do that, i get a message like this for the following .dll's (sccbase.dll initpki.dll slbcsp.dll)

I'm unsure if that would be the correct solution, but again it doesn't work for me, i get the error message on a few of those .dll's

I've been trying to fix my msn for weeks now, i can't install any older versions because it keeps making me go back to the newer one, web msn messenger works, meebo works, any other messenger works and my Windows Live ID works so those are not the problem.
