Can you try uninstalling Plus! for a day and let me know if the cpu program is gone? Before that, if you're using scripts or skins, try to disable them all to see if one of them is the culprit.

Alright, i've disabled all my scripts, i'll see how that goes and i'll keep you updated.

Also, do you run WLM under compatibility mode?

Yeah i do in order to have the icon in the system tray.

EDIT: Curious as to why you asked this question, i decided to take it off, i'm able to view the window previews in the preview pane and both the alt+tab and winkey+tab menus now. Is there anyway to get messenger to minimise to the tray when not in compatibility mode?

Ever since disabling the compatibility mode, the problem hasn't happened. I guess that was what was causing it. Thanks for all the help everyone =)

Microsoft does have an official Windows 7 RC Support Forum located here http://tinyurl.com/9fhdl5 . It is supported by product specialists as well as engineers and support teams. You may want to check the threads there for additional support and assistance with solutions.

Have you upgraded to the latest version of Messenger Plus! Live available here?

What do you mean that you cannot minimize chat windows properly?
