Hi im using the latest WLM.
when you select a display image/avatar it shows to all the contacts in my list. I was wondering if there is a plugin or something to assign various display images to specific contacts, or to contact categories.

Example: I want to show my biz contacts a different display image than my display image for my friends. Is this possible?

Unfortunately no, sorry. You can only have a single Display Picture at a time.

What you can do is create a separate account for your business contacts (a lot of people do this) and leave your existing one for other personal stuff
