For a start it looks pritty shit. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=feGRai6v6KU).

I was reading a blog post today (Johnathon Kay) and he said by the looks of it, in 2010 there will be no webcam feature. Only Video or Voice call.

Can anyone confirm this? That really sucks :S

See WLM 2010 revealed, especially the later posts for a whole lot more than just a cartoon impression.

By the looks of it "show my webcam" will be replaced with "video message". And of course you still have the regular video call too. Hopefully they gave video call an upgrade so one side doesn't always have to send video/audio. The only thing you'll miss then is being able to send your video (without sound) to multiple people at once, but perhaps they also added that to video call... there's no reason why everything 'show my webcam' had can't be added to 'video call' and avoid the confusion of having multiple menu items.
