Downloading doesn't give an exe extension

Try here instead http://g.live.com/1rebeta4_webd/en/wlsetup-webd.exe (for English, obv)

Hopefully there'll be an offline installer available too, I like to get that at work instead to save having to d/l each time I install.

Now I'm just waiting for a compatible version of Plus! before I install

Anyone tried that Messenger Companion thing? What exactly does it do? The description is not very informative...

YouTube closed-captions ripper (also allows you to download videos!)

its like an IE addon. which allows you to share things on the web with your wlm contacts.

update: ohh and see stuff your friends shared too and comment on them too. quite useless imho ><

How do you find all of those links?

Edit: Those second ones aren't offline installers though.....they're still just 1.15mb

Is it required for YouTube to work correctly on WLM2010 (just like we saw on the preview video)?

Well, from my first experience it's really quite bad...

I had no idea that nicknames had been removed, now forces to use your real name. That kind of sucks, really. Even so, it wasn't even showing that, just displaying my email address which I couldn't change.

Images sent as links automatically open without asking (according to JK).

Not to mention it was disconnecting and crashing constantly...
