How can I use airfoil without having problems with Messenger Plus! Live?

I am asking because the last time I installed it the Messenger Plus! Live disappeared

If installing Airfoil makes Messenger Plus! Live disappear then unfortunately you must pick between the two of them until such time as either developer figures out why the problem is occuring and fixes it
