O.P. Opening Links with Messenger Live
I am having trouble opening links in Messenger Live.  When I click on a link, or even a subject, the link automatically opens an html document in Wordpad.  It will not just go to the link.  I do not know how to fix this, or why it's doing it.  HELP!

IE.......I'll read that...thanks
So this doesn't help me much.  Perhaps I'm not advanced enough to know what this is telling me to do....

Please do not double post. Instead use the [Image: edit.gif] button.

Download both of the files. Extract them and run the registry file inside.

1. Press the Start button.
2. Type 'Default Programs' and select it.
3. Click 'Set your default programs'.
4. Select your web browser (e.g. IE).
5. Click 'Choose defaults for this program'.
6. Check all the extensions you like.
7. Click 'Save'.

Thanks Chris, I forgot how it was done in 7... using Vista at work. However I would assume it would be similar.

No problem. Glad it worked.

I am however reporting this thread to be moved to the appropriate location. The section you posted in is for support related to Messenger Plus!. The issue you experienced was with your operating system.
