i went to install messenger plus live 4.9 at the link it tells me where to download it at and the only one i can download there is Messenger Plus! Live 4.85.386. there is no 4.9 download link. is there anywhere i can actually download this newest version 4.9 at? and will it work with the newest windows live messenger 2011? thanks.

http://www.msgpluslive.net/download/ has 4.9. It only partly supports WLM 2011. You'll have to disable Plus' safe mode first, not all features will work.
Messenger Plus! 5.0 is targeted for December and will have full WLM2011 compatibility, as well as new features.
is the "sign in with different accounts similtanoulsy" option
working in this temporary version of Messenger Plus, or we have to wait till the december version to have it?
