Having a problem. My internet is fine until I try to log into MSN, then my router locks up blocking all internet traffic.
I've tried reinstalling the router after resetting it, also tried connecting to the router via wireless and wired and the problem remains.


Any ideas? It's so annoying >.<

If you have multiple computers at home, can you confirm the following:

When the issue "happens", are other computers than the one you were using able to access the internet?

Are you able to "ping" google.com or any web site? (Start, run, cmd, then type "ping google.com).

If the answer is positive on both, and that you've tried resetting your router, I'd recommend upgrading the firmware.. but to be totally honest I'd be really surprised...

It seems to be working again as usual now, MSN works..

It's weird because it happened a few months back and I was on the phone to Virgin Media's techs for nearly an hour and they couldn't fix it ^-^ It just seems to fix itself over time.. Weird
