O.P. Wlcomm.exe error
Well I patiently waited for this long overdue release and although what I've seen so far is good, I'm forever getting an appcrash error involving the wlcomm.exe file. I've been looking around for help and found out there was a similar problem with previous versions of Messenger.
I have already done the settings for the file itself, a clean install and still have the same problem.
Has anyone else had this and fixed it?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance people.

I'm just about to actually try that now.

Ok feeling dumb now..... Turns out it was Screenshot sender script causing it.
Removed it now and seem's to be running ok.
Will post again if it starts again.
Thanks for your quick reply.

Ok. Still got it.
Tried with all scripts off, plus uninstalled.
Then I did a full uninstall, cleaned the registry of all traces and rebooted.
Then I did a clean install and still got the same error.
As a side note, It seems to happen when sending or receiving pictures.

A clean install of what?
Do you mean you get the error also without Plus! being installed?

PS: a wlcomm.exe error has been reported before, several times actually, but usually without Plus! running. You can also probably find more info about it on the Microsoft Help Center.

I Meant WLM2011.
I've even removed all traces of it and gone back to WLM 14.0 and I can't even sign in without the WLCOMM error now.
I've also read about it on the microsoft help centre and followed there instructions too.
I guess it's webmessenger for me until I can find a proper fix :(
