I have put my desktop contacts on my desktop but im having problems with the status. Some of my contacts are online but the desktop contact shows them offline. The Status doesnt always changed for when they are busy to online and vis versa.
Is this a known issue as i cant find any articals about it?

Yes, it is something that has been reported from time to time over they years. Unfortunately is proves hard to fix. Patchou made attempts to fix this issue, but unsuccessful so far (as you noticed). And you'd think it would be one of the easiest things to make work, coding can be a strange world .
Perhaps now that Yuna Software has multiple coders they can take another look at it with a fresh perspective.
