Hi,
I have just updated to live messenger 2011 and msg plus 5.11 and I noticed that my event viewer does not show when my contacts sign in and out anymore.
how do i fix this?

Is the "Display Event Viewer" checkbox enabled?

Events should still be recorded regardless if the window is shown or not. As the moment you show it it will display historical events.

How do you get that the event viewer doesn't show from that statement? Clearly the OP says that the event viewer doesn't show the Sign In/Out events.

I strongly believe the OP is stating it is no longer showing the events. But we wont know until they are back.

they say a picture is worth a thousand words...

basically, my event viewer is here. it's just not displaying any status changes except for my own. i even tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything.

i have been through the settings over and over again

nevermind, i solved the problem.

it does that when you run msn in xp compatibility mode.
