O.P. help

i have set up MSN to save the conversations in my documents, and it used to save them as a XML document which i could open, however now it is saving them weirdly, instead of XML it is calling it 'their email address, it is saves it as number then it says file'.
when i try to open that file it says it cant open it!
i really want to save the conversations so that i can look back over them another time! please help!

Hello!
I'd like to try and help you with this issue.
I'd like to know what the file is being saved as first. To find this out you can right click the file you are trying to open and select 'Properties' a menu will pop up with that files information and under the name of the file there will be a label that says 'Type of file:' If you could be so kind to give me what type of file it is being saved as I can help you further :)
I attached a picture to give you a little help on what it should look like.

This file has been downloaded 235 time(s).
